Description From the Newberry Library Catalogue: Contemporary copy of a Mar. 20, 1736/37, letter from Thomas Lawrence, Philadelphia commission merchant and mayor, to the London[?] firm of Storke and Gainsborough, regarding the status of and accounts for goods shipped by particular vessels and the deleterious effect of the Pennsylvania-Maryland boundary dispute on the Indian fur trade. The copy is followed by a May 20, 1737, note from Lawrence, forwarding the copy and discussing further shipments.
