Description From the Newberry Library Catalogue: Documents, dated Apr. 28, 1757, May 6, 1759, and Dec. 2, 1759, record miscellaneous expenses relating to the French and Indian War efforts paid by the government of colonial South Carolina. The documents include accounts for repairs at Fort Moore (S.C.) by White Outerbridge, foodstuffs for French prisoners supplied by Margaret Olivier, William Pinckney’s expense report for provisions supplied to the Acadians, gifts to Cherokee Indians made by Capt. John Stuart, and food vouchers supplied by Jacob Mott for the expedition forces against the Cherokees in 1759.
