Description From the Newberry Library Catalogue: Examination by Francis Fullam, Justice of the Peace, dated Feb. 17, 1721 of Joshua Ompatawin. In this document Ompatawin, an Indian, is accused of stealing James Biglo’s black mare from a barn in Watertown. Following the facts set forth in the case, Ompatawin admits his guilt in a set of three questions asked by Fullam.
