Description From the Newberry Library Catalogue: Letter written by Patrick Henry, Governor of Virginia, to George Wythe, Speaker of the House of Delegates, on May 27, 1777. In this letter Henry informs Wythe that a delegation representing the Cherokee Nation has arrived in Williamsburg for the purpose of ratifying a peace treaty. Henry offers executive assistance to help conduct this business.
