Description From the Newberry Library Catalogue: Order written by John Glen on Dec. 24, 1764 to Arent Schermerhorn requesting delivery of food rations to Sir William Johnson at Johnson Hall, N.Y. Johnson, colonial superintendent of Indian affairs, was responsible for the distribution of provisions to the Indians under his jurisdiction. The document also records that the provisions were delivered and that payment was received from Col. John Bradstreet.
