Description From the Newberry Library Catalogue: Bill submitted Jan. 13, 1757, by James Rhodes to the selectmen of Sheffield, Mass., for the tending, nursing, and board of soldiers in Col. Dwight’s regiment from Nov., 1756 to Jan. 4, 1757, and also for the burial of several men, including one in Col. Bagley’s regiment. Bill is recommended for partial payment and signed by Sheffield selectmen Silas Kellogg, Jonathan Nash, Obadiah Noble, Nathaniel Austin, and Christopher Hopkins.
