Description From the Newberry Library Catalogue: Petition, Apr. 17, 1684, of Rebeckah Lee to the Middlesex County Court, requesting pardon "for fetching of drink for an Indian Squaw though wholy ignorant of its being Contrary to Law". Lee cites her poverty and the necessity of supporting her children as reasons for her offense and for her request for pardon.
